Since 2019, Solarize Rogue has been building community solar projects in southwestern Oregon to provide clean, renewable energy to members of our community who have not been able to take advantage of solar energy.
Our first Community Solar pilot project, in partnership with the Oregon Clean Power Cooperative, went live in March of 2022. The OSF Community Solar Project, located on the production building of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, is now fully subscribed and producing clean, renewable energy for families in the Rogue Valley, including low–income subscribers.
We are now excited to announce that Oregon Clean Power Coop and Solarize Rogue are starting work on new projects. All of our projects currently in development are listed below. Across our projects, 10 percent of the power generated will go to low–income families at a 40% discount off retail electricity rates. The energy produced by one of those projects will be dedicated 100% to low income families. Check out our progress by clicking on a project name.

What’s Next:
Sites for over 5 MW of clean, renewable energy have now been identified and three have been approved by Pacific Power. Construction could start as early as 2025, so we expect to open Participant enrollment very soon. Please contact us if you are interested in finding out more, or get on the waiting list to participate in this exciting opportunity.
Opportunities are not limited to Community Solar Project participants. We are in constant search for host sites with large roofs or vacant sunny land in the Pacific Power territory. If you own such a property, we would love to hear from you to discuss ways for you to host a Community Solar project.
